Support for Cancer Patients<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>

In August 2021 I got diagnosed with Breast Cancer.\u00a0 This experience gave me a deep understanding of the struggles and worries this journey brings to us.<\/p>

Especially the first few months can be difficult, when you have to wait constantly for news and test results. The uncertainty of the severeness of the illness is unsettling.<\/p>

Support is of great help during this time.\u00a0 But not everyone has a great network of friends and family. And sometimes if we do, we don’t want to burden them, as we can see how scared they are.<\/p>

The cancer journey also brings us through different points of transition. Each one with its own challenges and surprises.<\/p>

Often all we need is just a safe space to share.<\/p>

How can we make a breast cancer diagnosis an opportunity for a fulfilled life?<\/strong><\/p>

Have you just been diagnosed with Breast Cancer? Or is your yearly check up coming up? <\/span><\/p>

One of the most difficult parts of a cancer diagnosis is the Uncertainty which comes with it. There is a lot of waiting time for news and it feels like an eternity for your mind to ruminate and come up with the worst case scenarios.<\/span><\/p>

On the other hand no one permits you to even consider out loud the real worry. The elephant in the room, which will not be named. Ignoring it doesn’t help our overthinking and robs us of the opportunity which is handed to us. To live a truly fulfilled life.<\/span><\/p>

This sounds like a contradiction. But fact is we all could die at any given moment. We usually ignore the fact. We feel invincible and live like we will reach 100.<\/span><\/p>

This event is a safe space for everyone who would like to share freely their concerns and worries. <\/span><\/p>

Who is it for? Anyone who is going through this journey and is feeling alone.<\/span><\/p>

Support for Friends, Partners and Families of Cancer Patients<\/u><\/strong><\/p>

There are not many universal truth in the World, but it is probably save to say, that most of us have difficulties in responding, when a dear friend or family member has bad news.<\/p>

We don’t know what to say or what to do. Often we just panic and say things we later regret. Sometimes we repeat what we heard other people say before, without realizing how unhelpful those comments could be.<\/p>

If you feel lost and don’t know how to help someone with cancer, please get in contact with me.<\/p>

We sometimes need a stranger to talk to, for the simple reason that we want to be strong for our loved ones, but hiding our own fears can be difficult and often more unhelpful.<\/p>

You will gain the tools you need to be able to communicate openly and with no fear.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

How can we support our Loved ones with a cancer diagnosis when we feel scared and lost ourselves?<\/strong><\/p>

No one expects their loved ones to be completly healthy until the age of 100. But at the same time we seem to work from the presumption, it will only be happening to other people, that their loved ones will get sick. If it happens to us, we are often in complete shock and at a loss.<\/p>

We don’t know what to do or what to say. It is such an important life skill, we never get taught and there are not many, who respond naturally in an helpful way.<\/p>

So how can we deal with our own feelings and fears and be a rock for our loved ones at the same time?<\/p>

This event is a save space to talk about all the elephants in the room and to share our experiences.<\/p>

Who is it for? Everyone who feels lonely and lost and needs some support at this point in life.<\/p><\/div>
