One of my life Motto is:

All roads lead to Rome and our life is about the journey and the detours we take on the way.

Our experiences make us who we are.  Hopefully, with each of them, we grow a little wiser.

I started out my working life as a nurse.  I was always intrigued about the human mind and worked in psychiatry for a few years.   By my mid twenties I got disillusioned working in the health system. I left the career, not because I didn’t like nursing, but because of the circumstances.

My journey took me then in a few different directions, which gave me vast experiences in different industries and companies.

I eventually settled and moved from Germany to Ireland, studied there Travel and Tourism and spend 25 years in this profession.

But I was still searching for something more meaningful and was far from feeling content.

To find an outlet to my more creative side I  spend my evenings performing as a Stand Up Comedienne and Improvisor.

For years I ran a comedy club with friends in three different venues. This was additional to an already stressful day job.

The comedy very fast developed in to a second full time job. I ended up being overwhelmed and fatigued. When it became eventually too much, I gave up the one which didn’t pay the bills. Which of course was also the one which was fun.

It took me a while to realize that the problem wasn’t what I did, but that there was no meaning for me in it.  It was at that point, when I turned my life around again and went back to my roots.

I found an online Academy called Achology and started to train with them in Modern Applied Psychology.

I trained in the applied skills of Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, NLP, Life Coaching, Skilled Helping and Hypnotherapy.  I also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

Three years later I am running Growing Tall Services, providing training for companies and organisation in Life Skills, Life Balance, Stress Management and Communication Skills.

I also provide Mentoring Services to groups and Individuals.

The indiviual sessions are a collaboration between me and my clients to explore where they are in life and to find out, who they are at the core and where they want to go.  We also have a lot of fun along the way.

My 2nd Motto for life is:

“We all have to die, but not everyone really lives”

Let’s embrace uncommon sense, break free from old shackles and bring lightness and laughter in to our lives.
